This tour is designed to be whatever you would like to do with your day. Timing will be based on your interests as to how long you would like to stay at each location. Just lets us know what you are keen to fill your day with so we can help put together a specialized tour ... just for you!

Adelaide is known for its rich history and cultural heritage and is one of Australia's oldest cities. Here you can discover superb architecture, cultural boulevards and surrounding parklands.

Adelaide is a hub for arts, with numerous festivals and events such as the Adelaide Fringe Festival (which is Australia’s biggest arts festival and is held over February and March). You will find international and local talents performing a huge range of acts from cabaret, musicals, comedy shows etc,  

Don't worry, if you're visiting outside of these months, it will still be sure to please. it's diverse culinary scene and vibrant markets add to the city's charm, making it a destination that blends tradition with modernity and culture amongst it all.

With a pickup at 9:00am from city location, you can then guide us as what you'd be keen to see.


For the historians
Some options that may appeal to you range from Colonel William Light look out who came to Adelaide in1837, to survey the site to decide where the colony should build. A life-size statue of him now stands proud at the top of the hill and is a popular hotspot for visitors to go and learn about the history of the city while gazing out at the spectacular views of Adelaide below.

St Peter’s Cathedral which is a great photo stop, for the sport fanatics Adelaide Oval (and if you’re keen, you could do the roof climb*), a drive by Adelaide University, Library, Art Gallery & Museum are ideal stops for the history lovers, as is the historic North Adelaide with impressive, age-old buildings and lush gardens. Adelaide botanical gardens and botanic park are great stops for the nature lovers.

*Note bookings are essential for the roof climb and will need to be arranged prior to finalizing your booking.

Wine enthusiasts

You can work your way through the interactive displays of the Wine Discovery Journey Museum (need to allow 30mins to 1 hour for their guided tours) or should the urge strike taste some of 120 wines available at the Wined Bar. Mount Lofty lookout (dependent on weather)

Foodies

Adelaide Central Market is where we can grab a bite to eat as well as experience an abundance of great produce and treats (see just a selection of them below). There is something for everyone!!

The must-see place to visit for any chocolate lover would be Haighs Chocolates – an iconic South Australian business – you’ll get see what all the fuss is about. No doubt leaving with a selection of your favourites.

Depending on what other interests you have, we can 'fill out' your day however you wish.

We will then drop you back at your pickup location by 5:00pm

Family interests

The Adelaide Zoo is a great place to take the 'little' ones ... and yes, the 'big' ones too).
A visit to Haighs Chocolates Visitor Centre is a must for any chocolate lover, and a treat for the 'Mum & Dads' the National Wine Centre of Australia where you can learn all about wine production in South Australia and across the country. 

Then for the beachside lovers, Glenelg draws families to its long, sandy beach and the Beach house amusement centre, with waterslides, rides and arcade games keeping the kids entertained. The Bay Discovery Centre in the 1870s Glenelg Town Hall has local history exhibits including a vintage swimwear collection, and dolphin-spotting cruises cast off from nearby Holdfast Marina (must be pre-booked). Here you will find laid-back pubs, organic cafes, global eateries and boutiques which give the area a trendy vibe and is a great ice cream stop to wind up your day.

If you're keen to head up to the Adelaide Hills, strawberry picking It’s become an Adelaide institution, with thousands of people coming to enjoy the simple pleasure of pick your own strawberries every season (November to April). If strawberry picking 'isn't your thing' you can explore their farm shop, cafe, cooking demonstrations, farm-made ice cream and more.
